Yadira Laguerre
President and Founder
Graphics Design Director
Yadira is a stay at home mom to one handsome lad, and wife to an even more handsome fellow. She resides in New Jersey and is currently working from home in graphics design while building her portfolio in photography. She plans to branch out into this area, with a specialty in portraits and "Trash the Dress" shoots. She was born and raised in Patchogue, New York. She graduated High School with an Air Force ROTC math scholarship and went directly to SUNY Albany to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Her nature of being over involved in every cause quickly got her academically dismissed from school – twice. Yet it was at college that Yadira became a Christian and dedicated her life to His purpose for her. She headed back to her home town where she made a living as a medical receptionist while tutoring students in math and drawing charcoal portraits on the side. In her home church, she founded and choreographed a Step Squad which would lead many towards salvation and later be featured on BET with Donnie McClurkin. She then moved to Manhattan to attend Faith Exchange Fellowship where she is still an active member today. It is there, under Pastors Dan and Ann Stratton, that Yadira came to the full knowledge of her calling – to inspire, mentor and equip young women towards their divine destiny. She founded Point of Creation to provide an outlet for creative expression to women. Her ultimate goal is to run a Christian school for the Arts in New Jersey.
