Biography
Satoya is of Jamaican decent, born and raised in the Bronx. She is one of the lead vocalists for Evensong Rising, a christian contemporary band, currently on a college tour with World Relief in the New England area. She has been singing all her life and has been a professional vocalist for the last 5 years. She is a gifted musical arranger, song writer, and voice coach. She also plays classical piano and has studied at Sarah Lawrence College Music Department as well as the Westchester Conservatory of Music. She is presently working on her BA in organizational psychology. Satoya enjoys writing poetry, dancing, and cosmetology. As the Music Director for Point of Creation, her dream is to open a youth center that will train young men and women in the arts. She currently resides in Waterbury, CT, with her husband, Jason.
